Renovation of an office development in Laramie, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The work includes but is not limited to the selective demolition of the existing roof system and replacement with new roof system, metal coping, and flashing and other miscellaneous items required to complete work in full as indicated in the contract documents. This project is to be awarded under a single contract. To be considered, proposals must comply with the following instructions: - All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the proposal. The successful bidder shall provide a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond. - The bidder is required to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. - The owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any or all proposals, or waiving any irregularities or formalities in any proposal in the bidding. - Proposals must be submitted in writing, sealed, and clearly marked with the project name and the bidding company's name on the outside of the envelope. - Proposals must be received by the specified deadline; late proposals will not be accepted. - Bidders will be given electronic access to documents for a fee. Paper plans and specifications are not available. - Bidders must carefully examine the documents and the construction site; no extra payments will be made for conditions that can be determined by such examination. - A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for general contractors wishing to have their bids considered. Sub-contractors and suppliers are welcome to attend. - All questions about contract documents must be submitted in writing to the architect. Replies will be issued as addenda to all prime bidders of record and become part of the contract. Questions received less than five days before the bid opening cannot be answered. - Substitutions of materials and/or methods require advance written approval from the architect according to the process specified in the instructions.
