Lincoln Land Community College invites qualified general/site contractors to submit sealed bids to furnish all labor and material to complete the requirements for parking lot and sidewalk improvements. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Drug Free Workplace Act. Contractors and subcontractors must demonstrate experience on projects of similar size and type and be pre-qualified with the CDB or IDOT for a minimum of 45 days. A mandatory prebid meeting/site visit is required for contractors, and bid documents will be available to qualified contractors from Martin Engineering Company. The bidder must furnish a bid deposit of 5% of the amount bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The College reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, or permit timely correction of minor deficiencies in bids, and to accept the most favorable bid after examination and evaluation.
