The contractor shall provide removal and restoration of tree stumps on publicly owned right of ways for the Village of Mount Prospect during 2026 and 2027, with a possible extension into 2028. Proposals should include a price per diameter-at-breast-height inch for each size class according to specified requirements. Actual stump measurements at ground level may vary, and each assigned list will include stumps of varying sizes. The village reserves the right to add or remove stumps from the lists before the contractor begins. Stump removal and restoration lists will be issued between March 1st and November 15th each year. The contract may be extended for one year at the same prices, pending agreement by both parties. Awards are subject to funding and budget approval and may be terminated if funds are unavailable. All bid instructions require updated insurance, business or contractor's license, and any required bonds if the contract is extended.
