The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County is soliciting Bids for the construction of 84 Permanent Asphalt Speed Tables at 21 separate locations and includes all other associated construction items required to complete the work as designed. This service is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This project will consist of work as described below: This work includes the construction of 72 Permanent Asphalt Speed Tables at 20 separate locations and includes all other associated construction items required to complete the work as designed. BONDING REQUIREMENTS: An original Bid Bond for 5% of the total bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required if contract is awarded. Bidders are responsible for informing any commercial delivery service, if used, of all delivery requirements and for ensuring that the required address information appears on the outer wrapper or envelope used by such service. The Bid submittal must be signed by a company officer who is legally authorized to enter into a contractual relationship in the name of the bidder. The estimated range of this project is between $1,000,000 to $1,100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County.
