Projected Contract Award February 2026 Deadline for written questions Email Questions to: biddocs@lpbatlanta.com 5:00 PM Friday January 9, 2026 Provide all labor, materials, and services necessary for the renovations at Clarke Central High School, specifically for the gym locker room roof and HVAC replacement at 350 South Milledge Avenue, Athens, GA 30605. The work includes roofing demolition, installation of thermal roof insulation, application of a fluid applied membrane air and weather barrier, installation of a fully adhered TPO roofing system, flashing and sheet metal work, wall flashings, joint sealers, HVAC systems, instrumentation and control for HVAC, and electrical work. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis by base bid. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond and, if awarded, provide performance and payment bonds. Bond requirements also apply to the roofing subcontractor. Pre-qualification requirements: Only prequalified general contractors may submit proposals. Attendance at the mandatory pre-proposal conference by the project manager or estimator directly responsible for the proposal is required for qualification. Failure to attend results in disqualification. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Both performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price are required if awarded. The roofing subcontractor must also provide bonds. Only bids submitted by prequalified proposers will be considered.
