Award of Contract Spring, 2026 Contract The objective of the Project is to construct a new ~17,000 square foot branch library for the Athens Regional Library System at 1030 Barnett Shoals Rd, Athens, GA. The resulting facility will be a branch library of the Athens Regional Library System located on the Eastside of Athens. In this RFP request, the 100% Construction Drawings and Permit Drawings are included to give the prospective bidder the overall project scope. The Bid Price Proposal Submittal will be based on final versions of these drawings that will be issued to shortlisted firms. Bid Price Proposal Submittal will not be due until after shortlisting and issuance of final proposal instructions. The estimated range of costs for the construction of this Project is between $8,000,000 and $9,500,000.
