Reference Number 0000408884 The City of Delta is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 Bill Heddles Recreation Gym Floor Repair and Resurfacing The City of Delta is requesting bids from qualified contractors to complete the 2026 Bill Heddles Recreation Gym Floor Repair and Resurfacing project. 1. Repair of existing flooring as needed to prepare for install of new flooring over the top. 2. Install new 7875sqft of 6mm flooring per manufacturer's specifications. 3. Main floor color and lines to be selected from standard color choices. 4. Painting of the lines will include (1) main basketball, (2) cross basketball, (2) cross volleyball courts, (3) cross pickleball courts. 5. Remove existing 4" cove base and install new. 6. Raise and replace cover plates of any exiting game inserts to match elevation of the new floor. (4) volleyball and (2) electrical for scoreboards. 7. Replace all door transitions and thresholds with new. 8. Provide information and warranty of a minimum of 10 years. 9. Work needs to be started by August 10, 2026, and completed by August 23, 2026.
