The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,030 linear feet of six-foot high, 9-gauge commercial grade chain-link fencing with recommended fence posts and fasteners. It also includes one six-foot high, ten-foot wide, double gate with a locking mechanism entry point off of the intersection of Penn Avenue and 12th Street, with recommended fence posts and fasteners. Bidders must submit a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the estimated cost with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, payment, and maintenance bonds. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for up to ninety (90) days from the date of opening to review and investigate bidder qualifications prior to awarding the contract. Bids may also be held until the release of funds. Federal and state requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Bids May Be Held by the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Westmoreland for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of the Opening of the Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of the Bidders, Prior to Awarding the Contract The Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals or Any Part Thereof, for Any Reason, and Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding.
