Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid for CONTRACT R046-26 Furnish Repair Clamps. Copies of bidding forms, specifications, and other contract documents are available at no cost on the PennBid website. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Vendor Discussions” tab in Messages on PennBid. All bids must contain sufficient information on the proposed material to be furnished to permit the Authority to determine whether it meets the specifications. Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027. Vendors who are awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the type of contract. Term Contracts award fee is 1/6% of 1% (.00166%) of the initial contract award amount, with a minimum fee of $100 and a maximum of $5,000. The successful bidder shall provide the Authority with a surety bond, acceptable to the Authority, for the faithful performance of the contract within ten days after the Authority’s formal notification of contract award. The amount of the surety bond shall be $5,000. Any bid not submitted under these conditions will be rejected. The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or portion of the bids it deems in its best interest.
