Separate and sealed proposals will be received for the 2026 Superpave Asphalt (Supply Only) Contract #HT-2601. The work consists of the Contractor supplying approximately 3000 tons of Superpave Wearing Course (9.5mm), approximately 2000 tons of Superpave Binder Course (19.0mm), and approximately 500 tons of Superpave Binder (25.0mm). The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements do not apply to this contract. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bidders Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in favor of Hempfield Township. The bituminous price index in accordance with PennDOT Form 408 applies. Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
