The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to construct the Burns Fox Hills Monitoring Well as specified in the contract documents and construction plans. The work includes drilling and constructing a 5" diameter steel cased well (or optionally a 6" diameter), with 4-1/2" well screen, completed in the Fox Hills Formation at an expected depth of 1000 to 1225 feet. It includes drilling a pilot hole, assisting the Engineer/Geologist with collecting cuttings, geo-physical logging of the pilot hole, reaming the pilot hole for installation of the casing and screen, furnishing and installing casing and screen, gravel pack and grouting/sealing material, development work on the well, furnishing, installing, and removing a test pump, conducting the test pumping, furnishing and installing a lockable seal on the monitoring well, and site clean-up. All work shall be done by a Wyoming licensed well-driller and Wyoming licensed pump installer. A bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid must accompany any bid submitted. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the accepted bid. The Town of Burns reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any formalities in the bidding process. Questions will be received until February 3, 2026, by noon local time.
