Renovation of a stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. Working plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

**As of March 23rd, 2026, the owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established**. https://www.ktiv.com/video/2026/01/02/spartan-stadium-renovations-expected-cost-500-million/ Spartan Stadium renovations expected to cost $500 million --------------------------------- Professional qualifications and proposals for construction management services are requested for the Spartan Stadium East Side Modernization Project. Michigan State University (MSU) seeks professional qualifications and proposals for construction management services for the project listed above. The following outlines the project and submission requirements. It is MSUs intent to select the team that will provide the most value to the project. The successful firm will enter MSUs standard agreement for Construction Management Services. There are fourprincipal components to the selection process, as follows: 1. Team Qualifications and Experience MSU will review the qualifications and experience of each firm and the proposed project team, including their experience with similar projects and their ability to successfully deliver the Project. 2. Written Proposal Review MSU will review the written proposals submitted in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP describes what firms must include in their proposals, such as fees, general conditions pricing, proposed staffing, and other required information. 3. Shortlisting for Interviews Based on the written proposals, MSU will identify the firms that are most qualified and invite them to participate in interviews. 4. Interviews and Cost Review After the interviews, MSU will review and compare cost proposals. If the top-ranked firm's cost is higher than others, MSU will determine whether the higher cost provides added value. If the cost is significantly lower, MSU will review the proposal to confirm that the pricing is reasonable and sufficient to complete the work. Total project budget, inclusive of all design, demolition, site improvements, construction, MEP, FF&E, AV/IT, fees / permits, contingencies, and Owner costs. This amount also includes corporate sponsor space (40,000-45,000SF). If additional academic users like the Department of Kinesiology or university welcome center is a potential occupant, funding for those spaces will be above the $500M
