The project consists of the 2026 Utility and Street Reconstruction in two locations: Arthur Street (approximately 450 linear feet from the Arthur Street dead end to McKinley Avenue) and Miami Circle (approximately 1,600 linear feet from Vandenbroek Road to Florida Avenue). The existing roads are urban roadways with curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, and municipal utilities. The proposal is to reconstruct them as 29-foot-wide concrete urban street sections, each with two 11-foot travel lanes and a 6-foot parking lane with integral curb and gutter. The work includes approximately 1,660 cubic yards of common excavation, 1,575 cubic yards of Course Aggregate Base Course (CABC), 7,280 cubic yards of 7-inch non-doweled integral concrete pavement, 14,015 square feet of 6-inch concrete driveway approaches, 280 square yards of 4-inch asphalt for pavement transitions, 4,210 square yards of landscape restoration, traffic control, construction staking, and saw cutting. Coordination with the utility contractor is necessary for the transition from the utility contract to the paving contract, as separate bids are required. All bids must follow the instructions provided, including submitting all required attachments on QuestCDN.com. Bids must be sealed, list the name and address of the bidder, and specify the contract being bid on the outside of the envelope. Bidders must use the forms provided in the contract documents. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond for at least 5% of the maximum bid amount is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid that serves the village's interests. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening without the owner's consent. Bidding is subject to Wisconsin statutes as referenced. Question Deadline 01/23/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than 5-days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The work shall reach Final Completion by October 16th, 2026
