The project involves overseeing the Saline Creek Borrow Pit management and reclamation for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The scope of work is divided into two phases: Class 1 Pit Construction and Class 1 Pit Reclamation. Each phase includes design services, contract administration services (general engineering services, resident engineering services, post construction services), and geotechnical instrumentation and borrow pit monitoring. Specific tasks include reviewing existing documentation, acquiring necessary permits, conducting site investigations, preparing design and tender documents, overseeing contractor operations, ensuring compliance with geotechnical and environmental requirements, reporting progress and issues, coordinating with stakeholders, leading meetings, monitoring construction, preparing inspection and deficiency reports, certifying substantial and final performance, and assisting with applications for a reclamation certificate. The successful proponent will provide project management, maintain project documentation, and ensure deliverables are submitted and approved. Fees must be all-inclusive, and reimbursable expenses require approval and documentation. Construction inspection hours will be paid based on actual hours used, with expectations for economical management of these hours. All project tasks, reports, and deliverables must comply with applicable municipal standards and regulations.
