Renovation of a municipal facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Bid Bond Yes, 10%. For furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and performing all work necessary to carry out the repair and installation of SBUPP (Sewer Backup Prevention Program) Equipment (pumps, valves, backflow preventers, etc.), which prevent sewage backups from sanitary and combined sewers in private building structures to comply with the requirements of the Global Consent Decree. Work includes but is not limited to internal and external plumbing, electrical services associated with operating the prevention equipment, waterproofing, and interior and exterior storm drainage modifications. The deadline for questions is Wednesday The City of Cincinnati is soliciting sealed bids/proposals from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document. The Contractor awarded the contract shall be a registrant under Vendor Self Service (VSS) at online. In most cases, bid/RFP/RFQ documents are available directly from the City of Cincinnati Purchasing Division office at no charge. Call (513) 352-3209 or fax your request to (513) 352-3202. The location of the work will take place on private property at various homes and businesses within the service area of the Metropolitan Sewer District, which includes Hamilton County and parts of Warren and Clermont Counties. Contractors must coordinate with the property owners' needs, as reasonable. Once Contractor starts work, he must continue work uninterrupted to provide the least disruption to the property owner. The contractor shall keep the work area in an uncluttered condition. The contractor shall remove all debris and unused material and leave the area in a condition similar to the condition of the area before any work was performed. The contractor shall make repairs immediately if it causes any damage to private or public property. Failure to complete the restoration within a week of initial damage shall result in the delay of payment for work performed. It shall be understood and agreed that the safe and continuous operation of the wastewater collection system and service to the applicable properties shall have priority over any work performed under this contract Small Business Enterprises, including those registered with the City of Cincinnati Office of Contract Compliance Small Business Enterprise Program, are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
