The completed renovation and addition shall not utilize fossil fuels. There are known hazardous materials, abatement is to be included in project design and construction scopes. The OCME will remain in operation and functional during design and construction requiring phasing, scheduling, coordination, and logistics to maintain services such as autopsy facilities operations, storage, refrigeration, mechanical and administrative spaces. Prior team experience with medical examiner facilities, research hospitals, and/or pathology/autopsy suites is preferred.
