Demolition and renovation of a residential development in Clinton, Iowa. Completed plans call civil work for a residential development.
This project consists of asbestos removal from the dangerous structures located at 534 2nd Ave. So., 440 4th Ave. So., 210 So. 5th St., 659 8th Ave. So., 437 9th Ave. So., 750 10th Ave. So., 265 20th Pl., 1806 Camanche Ave. and 128-130 Fayette St. A contract will be awarded for each property. All asbestos-containing materials must be removed by June 15, 2026. Included in this bid is the City of Clinton's Safety Manual. The low bidder(s) will be required to sign an agreement to comply with this Manual. The low bidder(s) must return the signed contract, performance bond and agreement to comply with the City's Safety Manual by March 5, 2026. As per ITB, A public hearing will be held by the City of Clinton, Iowa on the proposed Contract Documents (plans, specifications, and form of contract) and estimated total cost for the Demolition of Structures-Asbestos Removal, Project K-2025, Phase II at the City Council meeting at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th day of February, 2026, in said City Council Chambers, 611 South 3rd Street, Clinton, Iowa. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted to the City Engineer by email through the online bidding site. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 at 12:00 PM CT
