The Washington County Highway Department is accepting electronic bids for the County Trunk Highway M Reconstruction Project from CTH T to STH 60. The project is partially funded with State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) funds. Work includes approximately: 23,615 CY of common excavation, 1,280 CY of marsh excavation, 40,490 TON of base aggregate dense, 13,155 TON of breaker run, 14,420 SY of pulverize and relay, 11,870 TON of HMA pavement, 1,790 LF of culvert pipes, 150 LF of storm sewer, 2,790 LF of concrete curb and gutter, 43,700 SY of salvaged topsoil, and 38,210 LF of pavement markings. Bid security must be submitted as a 5% bid bond. The accepted bidder will be required to furnish a performance payment bond and certificate of insurance equal to 100% of the contract price. Bids must be submitted through www.questcdn.com on a unit price basis. Bidders must complete and submit a Bidders Statement of Qualifications at least 5 days before the bid opening or be listed on the current Wisconsin Department of Transportation Prequalified Contractor list. Washington County reserves the right to waive informalities or technicalities, reject any or all bids, and award the bid in the aggregate or by item to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder who meets specifications and requirements.
