Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Jackson, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Work includes modifications to the existing treatment processes and structures, equipment replacement and installation, pipe work, and site improvements at the Village's wastewater treatment facility. The scope of work includes removing existing aeration equipment in the East and West Aeration Basins, raising the tank walls by 4 feet, and installing new aeration equipment, mixers, and piping as indicated in the drawings. The project also involves adding equipment platforms and making electrical modifications to the structure and site. The Aeration Basins Control Building will have its floor raised by 12 inches and will receive new electrical and control equipment. Site work includes removal and replacement of sidewalks around the Basins, miscellaneous site piping modifications, and regrading of the project area. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of Jackson within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work five days prior to the bid deadline as per Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder is required to submit security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount and have experience in wastewater infrastructure construction. Bidders must comply with requirements for use of American-made iron and steel, submit good faith efforts to solicit proposals from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), and adhere to federal wage requirements. The Village of Jackson reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. .
