Site work for a mixed-use development in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; 1,368-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Work under this contract includes furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment and performing all operations required to connect the public sanitary sewer system nearby, with a new sewer pump station, force main extension, to replace a septic system (septic tank and approximately 1,368 square feet of drain field) in accordance with Miami Dade County Public Works Manual and the conditions of the Miami-Dade County Miscellaneous Construction Contract (MCC) Plan 7360. The work includes: securing all necessary permits, removing and properly disposing of the existing septic tank and drain field system, constructing the sewer pump station and appurtenances, sewer lateral and sewer force mains, inspecting and replacing the effluent sewer pipe if needed, harmonizing the site to match surrounding areas, and repairing/replacing curbs, sidewalks, pavers, asphalt paths, and pavement markings damaged or removed during construction. Changes required due to conflict of design or field conditions will be determined by the Engineer. License requirements are set by the Code of Miami-Dade County and solicitation documents, including a valid, current, and active Certificate of Competency from the County's Construction Trades Qualifying Board as a Specialty Engineering Contractor, commensurate to the scope of work, in one or more engineering crafts including General Engineering Contractor, General Contractor, or Underground Utility/Excavation Contractor. The contractor must subcontract with qualified contractors for incidental specialty work, such as plumbing and electrical. Deadline to received questions (RFI) will be February 10, 2026.
