The scope of work involves asphalt overlay to various areas throughout Eagle County, specifically referred to as Projects 1, 2, and 3. The completion date for these projects is October 30, 2026. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be sent via ground shipping methods, U.S. Mail or hand delivered to the Eagle County Road & Bridge Department. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Eagle County 2026 Overlay Project" and include the bidder's name and address. Required bid security must accompany the Sealed Bid. No telephone, email or facsimile bids will be accepted. All submitted documents must be clearly marked with the bidder's name. Bids must be received by the specified deadline at the stated location. Late bids will not be considered. The successful bidder must provide certification of specified insurance requirements and payment and performance bonds prior to starting work. The agreement(s) will be awarded to the lowest, qualified, responsible bidder(s), but Eagle County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive any informality or technicality, negotiate contract terms, disregard non-conforming bids, and postpone award for up to thirty-one days after bid opening.
