Renovation of an educational facility in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This project calls for a performance auditorium, modern music technology labs, collaborative classrooms, rehearsal spaces, private practice rooms, new student spaces, and upgraded faculty offices as well as updates to heating, lighting, cooling, and other building systems. Pre-qualification requirements: To qualify, the subcontractor must meet all applicable State of North Carolina licensing requirements as well as applicable bonding requirements. The subcontractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a college campus environment, pertaining to one or more of the trades or scopes of work outlined above. Similar project experience will be considered during prequalification. Participation from historically underutilized businesses is highly encouraged. Submittals for prequalification should be made on the provided form and submitted to Barringer Construction for review. Prequalification for this project will comply with the prequalification policy as set forth in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statutes. Contracting method will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statutes.
