Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waterville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and appurtenances needed for the construction of the Canal Road Improvements. The project includes pavement planning and resurfacing of 0.60 miles of roadway, extensive pavement edge repair, installation of stone berms throughout, and pavement markings. Bids must be signed, enclosed in a sealed envelope, and marked Canal Road Improvements. Each bid must include a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier’s check payable to the City in the amount of 10% of the bid. Bidders must comply with Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Lucas County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. Bidders are required to submit an affidavit under Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042 regarding delinquent personal property taxes in Lucas County and comply with State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements in the OPWC Proposal Notes. The successful bidder must submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Certificates of Insurance, and an ORC Section 3517.13 Affidavit. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid most favorable to the City. The City also reserves the right to modify the quantities shown in the proposal.
