The contract will consist of paving and associated work items on various streets throughout Ohio County as part of the 2026 Community Crossings Paving Program - Application #14999. Sealed bids must be submitted on the provided bid forms in the contract documents and include all information requested by Indiana Form 96 (Revised 2013). Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond for at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Approved performance and payment bonds, in the amount of 100% of the contract price, are required from the selected contractor and must remain in force for the duration of the contract plus twelve (12) months from substantial completion. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the project site(s) and thoroughly reviewing the contract documents and specifications. If the project is $150,000 or more, a written plan for an employee drug testing program in compliance with IC 4-13-18-5 and IC 4-13-18-6 must be included with the bid. Bids not received by the deadline will be returned unopened. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid or combination of bids, and waive informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time.
