The Proposal(s) may be awarded to more than one vendor. Demolition Scope a. General Upon receipt of abatement clearance, demolish and remove all above- and below-grade structures, including: o Building superstructure and foundations/slabs. o Concrete/asphalt paving, curbs, and driveways. o Fencing, signage, poles, and non-salvageable utilities or site features. b. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Investigation o Prior to excavation or foundation removal, perform GPR scanning across the site to locate: o Buried foundations, footings, or structural remnants. o Subsurface utilities, vaults, and unknown obstructions. o Provide mapping and report identifying depths and approximate locations. o Coordinate findings with demolition plan to prevent equipment damage or delays. c. Utility Coordination o Verify complete disconnection and capping of all utility services prior to demolition. o Coordinate with Greeley utility providers to ensure compliance with local standards o Coordinate with locally affected stakeholders. d. Salvage and Recycling o Recover recyclable or salvageable materials (metals, masonry, concrete) where feasible. o Provide documentation of tonnage and destinations of all waste and recycled materials. e. Site Restoration o Backfill all excavations with clean, compacted fill to match surrounding grade. o Rough grade the site for positive drainage and install temporary erosion and dust control measures. The SWPP will be transferred from the Demo contractor to the General Contractor for the new Justice Center. The demo contractor will be responsible for the SWPP until September 2026. o Maintain a stable gravel surface or approved equivalent until redevelopment begins. o Any required import material is the responsibility of the contractor.
