Capital Fund 2023 Nanty Glo & Portage Window Replacement, and Capital Fund 2023 Nanty Glo & Portage Concrete & Handrail Replacement - General Construction. Bidders may obtain project documents from ABO Construction Services, LLC, upon payment of a non-refundable fee. Only contractors obtaining bid documents from the Design Professional will be considered registered bidders. A certified check or bid bond for ten percent of the bid amount must be submitted with each bid; combined bonds are not acceptable. Each contract requires separate submission and separate sealed envelopes, labeled with the contract title and "Bid for General Construction." The firm's name must appear on the outer envelopes. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory performance and payment bonds. Compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, Section 3, prevailing wage, and minority business participation is mandatory. The Authority promotes the use of businesses and hires from within the Section 3 area. The Johnstown Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject proposals, waive informality, or withhold award for ninety days. Bids are to be received at the Administrative Offices of the Johnstown Housing Authority.
