Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following items: milling of 2,654 square yards of bituminous pavement, placement of 319 tons of Superpave binder course (19.0mm), and placement of 239 tons of Superpave wearing course (9.5mm), all in place. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality; for other municipalities, this requirement is at the municipality's discretion. A performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
