Renovation of a mixed-use development in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to correct drainage and surfaces in shower rooms of Buildings H and K at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. Work includes demolition of existing shower flooring tiles or resinous flooring, removal of mortar base, and chipping and grinding concrete as needed to achieve proper drainage. The required slope for shower floors is 1:48 (approximately 1.20 degrees) toward the drain. The contractor shall remove and replace existing trench drain assemblies at the new required lower height, temporarily remove patient toilets/water closets during demolition, and reinstall them with new wax rings after completion. Installation shall include new mortar base, waterproofing membrane, tile edging, and new tile flooring, ensuring correct slope verified by the COR. The contractor shall grout all new tile installations and provide submittals per the finish schedule. Sixty patient rooms are included in this project.
