Description of Work: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services for the following: mechanical projects, costing between $10,000 and $1,000,000 per Job Order. All projects will not exceed a total work value of $5,000,000 per Option Year. The scope will include repair to and/or replacements of existing building mechanical systems and units with the possibility of hazardous material remediation to existing as well as construction of new systems and hazardous material remediation. The scope may include accessibility improvements and Fire/Life Safety upgrades and project-related electrical work. The scope may include accessibility improvements and Fire/Life Safety upgrades. Work may require interaction with University's shops' staff during project delivery. Work will take place at UC Davis sites in Yolo and/or Solano Counties.Work at the UC Davis Leased Property and the Primate Center are excluded, as well as any other project involving federal or other grant fund terms and conditions or Davis Bacon Wage Rates that have requirements that are not included in this contract. Bid Security in the amount of $25,000 shall accompany each Bid. The surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
