The Town is seeking a Warranty Service Provider to offer Warranty Plans to Residential Property Owners which include Water Service, Sewer Lateral and interior plumbing and drainage repair and replacement services. The selected provider is expected to offer these services for a predetermined, affordable monthly fee and ensure that high-quality, timely services are delivered in adherence to relevant standards and codes. The aim is to provide affordable protection to property owners, educate them on maintenance responsibilities, and reduce the impact and expense of repairs. The provider will supply: a) Water Service warranty protection plans at an affordable cost. b) Sewer Lateral warranty protection plans at an affordable cost. c) Interior plumbing and drainage warranty protection plans at an affordable cost. d) All warranty protection plans must be offered on an optional, opt-in basis. No cross-selling or upselling is permitted outside the products listed. The provider must not offer services outside the RFP products or to non-residential owners without written consent. All warranty plans must be beneficial and provide value to property owners. Minimum coverage requirements are stipulated for Water Service, Sewer Lateral, and include specific coverage for repairs, restoration, emergency repair, and workmanship warranties. No exclusions for pre-existing conditions or age of property are permitted for Water Service coverage. Instructions to bidders include ensuring submissions are in PDF format only, not password protected, and uploaded via the designated system. All components listed in the submission instructions and schedules must be completed. Proposals must follow the specified format, clearly reference RFP section numbers, and provide detailed responses to all rated criteria regarding service, coverage, exclusions, billing, customer service, subcontractors, references, and past project experience. Bidders are required to submit a Prioritizing Canadian Suppliers Attestation Form. The evaluation process includes review of methodology, work plan, references, and compliance with all requirements and objectives stated in the document.
