Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Monee, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Oak Road Water Main Improvements. All proposals must be sealed and submitted on the forms provided by the Engineer. Bids must include a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond for no less than ten percent (10%) of the bid as a guarantee. A performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount is required from the successful bidder. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates set by the State of Illinois Department of Labor and all applicable federal and local regulations. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, postpone or re-advertise for new proposals as deemed in the best interest of the Village. No work can commence until all required permits and easements are obtained by the Village. Bids remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after opening. Prequalification requirements: Bidder qualifications and experience will be considered in determining the lowest responsible bidder. All potential bidders must submit prequalifications to the Engineer. If deemed not in the Village's best interest, a proposal will not be issued to the applicant.
