Renovation of a retail development in Monee, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.

As of October 31, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded November 2025. The Forest Preserve District of Will County requests a quote from your company to complete the following public work project per the attached specifications. The successful contractor will be required to enter into a binding contract and to provide proof of adherence to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, which will include submission of a certified payroll. Please provide your quote total as a sum of the activities described below. Item Description Quantity Unit Unit Cost Total 1 Hand Dig Trench From Electrical Room To Site For Bore, Directional Bore 1' HDPE Poly Pipe 100' 1 LS $ 2 Replace Current 20 Circuit Panel With Larger Single Phase/ 24 Circuit Panel. 1 LS $ 3 Furnish Wire And Add 2 20-Amp Circuits With 20 Amp GFCI Outlets, Boxes, And Covers At Seating Area. 1 LS $ 4 Furnish Conduit, Wire, And Add 2, 20 Amp Circuits With 20 Amp GFCI Outlets, Boxes, And Covers On The North Side Of Building. 1 LS $ Quote Total $ Scope of Work: The Monee Reservoir Concessions building is located at 27341 S. Ridgeland Ave. Monee, IL 60449. Is looking to add some additional outlets, and upgrade a electrical panel. The project will require hand digging a trench approximately 30' to a be able directional bore approximately 100' to the seating area. 1" HDPE pipe run from the building, run wire to the two independent electrical circuits. A junction box and all necessary covers will need to be furnished. The work will also consist of replacing the current 120/240-volt 20 space circuit panel to a larger 120/240-volt 24 circuit panel. Lastly, run 90 +/- ' 3/4 ' conduit from electrical service room to the north side of building, pull wire, and add two 20-amp circuits and two 20- amp GFCI receptacles. Also furnish necessary boxes and covers. The successful contractor will be required to purchase and/or provide all necessary equipment and hardware. Reference Exhibit A for aerial view of site. The site can be viewed from the outside 7 days a week sunrise to sunset. To access the interior of the facility, please coordinate with the project manager in advance. Location: Monee Reservoir Concessions building - 27341 S. Ridgeland Ave. Monee, IL 60449. Industry Standards: All work performed shall be in accordance with federal, state, and local codes, and industry standards. Local Utilities: The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with local utilities having jurisdiction, whenever applicable. Call Before You Dig: The contractor shall be responsible to "Call Before You Dig" to JULIE at 1-800-892- 0123, before any excavations or penetrations into the ground. Damages: The Contractor shall be held responsible for any and all damages incurred while performing work. Pricing/Billing: The Forest Preserve District of Will County (District) is a sales tax-exempt organization. Pricing shall be all-inclusive; the total price to fully complete the job, including but not limited to labor, materials, fuel consumption, disposal fees, set-up/mobilization, etc. All fees incurred by the contractor are considered incidental to the job and shall not be remunerated by the Forest Preserve District of Will County. The District is governed by a Board of Commissioners who meet monthly and must approve all payments made. The Prompt Pay Act allows the District 60 days to pay its vendors. A copy of this notice may be provided upon request. Final payment shall be made only after the Project Manager is fully satisfied with the work and any punch-list items have been completed by the contractor. Contract Duration: Quoted services shall remain valid as of the date of contract award through the project completion. Project to be completed by November 30, 2025. Work is to be scheduled to begin on a Monday or Tuesday when the facility is closed to the public but may continue into the week.
