Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Indianapolis, Indiana. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The scope of work includes professional engineering services to evaluate, design, specify equipment, and support the replacement and commissioning of multiple exhaust fans at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center. These fans, located on the roof and within conditioned spaces, have reached the end of their service life and present ongoing maintenance and reliability concerns. The existing fans serve both critical and non-critical areas, with limited as-built documentation available to define exact service areas. The AE shall assess system conditions, ductwork configuration, and overall operation, and provide a design solution that addresses these uncertainties. Minor and temporary loss of exhaust service during evaluation and replacement is acceptable with prior notification to affected parties. Services will include preparation of design documents, specifications, and construction period support, including professional field inspections, review of submittals, responses to RFIs, and assistance with contract changes. Location: Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
