Generally, the work includes tuck pointing, cleaning, and sealing masonry walls of the Elementary and High Schools. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope to the Office of the Superintendent prior to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26th, 2026. Bids must include a properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate, a bid deposit in the amount of 10% of the bid, and not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Bidders are required to submit a notarized certification that the Contractor is not barred from bidding due to violations of Article 33E. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract cost within ten days after notice of acceptance.
