The project primarily consists of furnishing materials, labor, and equipment required to install the following: construction of a four bay, cast in place concrete stormwater decant facility to receive stormwater from City of Kalispell street and maintenance operations; earthwork, site grading, foundation preparation, and grading of a stormwater retention pond; installation of 6 inch water and flushing hydrants; installation of 12 inch storm piping and new stormwater manholes; installation of stormwater treatment equipment consisting of a coalescing filter and stormwater filter; an additive alternate for construction of a partially enclosed, pre-engineered metal building; a new 100 amp electrical service to supply power and lighting to the facility. All bidders must submit bids electronically through QuestCDN and provide a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry at the time of bid submission. The successful bidder will be required to furnish security for the full amount of the contract for faithful performance and payment of labor, material, and subcontractor claims, and provide evidence of insurance as specified. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any technicality or informality and accept the bid considered in the best interest of the City.
