Remodeling of a municipal facility in Emmett, Idaho. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
The project comprises the addition of an exterior accessible ramp to the lower level and a new entry door at the west façade of the existing building. The existing gravel parking lot will be paved with sitework improvements, including modifications to the existing seepage bed extents, a new trash enclosure, and site lighting. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope with the project name on the cover. No electronic submissions will be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt unless the award of contract is delayed for more than thirty days. Each bid must include a Certified or Cashier’s Check from an Idaho bank, or a bid bond with an Idaho State Licensed Survey Company as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid, payable to Gem County. This surety shall be forfeited if the bidder fails to sign the contract or furnish the required 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond. Bidders must be licensed in the State of Idaho as per Public Works Contractor’s State License Law, Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code Amended. The bidder’s name must match the name on the public works license referenced in the bid. Contractors must comply with state wage and equal employment opportunity regulations.
