Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mentone, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
**As of February 10, 2026, this contract has been awarded.** The work consists of the resurfacing of approximately 11,418 square yards of roadway, and incidental items associated with the work. All materials furnished and labor performed incident to and required for the proper and satisfactory execution of the contracts shall be in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents as defined in the General Conditions of the Construction Contract, and any addenda thereto, prepared by the Engineer. Proposals must include sufficient and proper sums for all General, Construction, Installation, Labor, Materials, Tools, Equipment, Taxes (both Federal and State), Permits, Licenses, Insurance, and Service Costs required for the construction of the facilities. Proposals are to be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the project title and the bidder's name and address. Contractors must be prequalified to perform public work. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or acceptable Bidder’s Bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the total highest aggregate proposal. Approved performance and payment bonds for 100% of the Contract Price are required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects in bids or bidding procedure, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid as may be lowest most responsible and responsive as determined by the Owner.
