Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Major Items: Approximately 3,500 SY Full Depth Patching Related items Including removals, restoration, traffic control, erosion control, and survey. The City of Urbandale reserves the right to reject any and all bids The bid security must be in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount including all add alternates (do not deduct the amount of deduct alternates). Bid security shall be in the form of a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on an FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the state of Iowa or on an FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the United States; or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States; or a bid bond on the form provided in the contract documents with corporate surety satisfactory to the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City, from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operation of the Contractor.
