Site work and paving for a road / highway in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Patching the pavement along Colby Woods Drive between 83rd Street and Hickman Road, and the streets intersecting Colby Woods Drive on the west. Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount including all add alternates. Bid security shall be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, certified share draft, or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the City. Successful bidders are required to furnish a corporate surety bond for the faithful performance of the contract in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Contractors and subcontractors should not include sales tax for material purchases; a certificate of exemption will be issued at contract acceptance. The City will ensure that minority business enterprises have full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin. All bids must be filed before 1:30 p.m. on the specified date, and failure to submit a completed Bidder Status Form may result in rejection of the bid. The City of Urbandale reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
