Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work comprises sidewalk replacement at various locations under the jurisdiction of the City of Urbandale as part of the 2025 Sidewalk Repair Program. Bidders must file sealed proposals in accordance with the specified time and location. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Work must begin immediately upon contract approval by the Council and be completed as directed. Contractors and subcontractors should not include sales tax for material purchases, as a certificate of exemption will be issued upon contract acceptance. The City will ensure that minority business enterprises have full opportunity to bid and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin. The successful bidder is required to furnish a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract price, guaranteeing faithful performance and prompt payment for materials and labor, as well as protecting the City from related claims and damages. Payment will be made based on monthly estimates for 97% of work completed, with the remaining 3% paid under specified conditions.
