The City of Tybee Island, GA is accepting bids for Buried Debris Removal from the Polk/Solomon Property. The city may reject any or all bids and proposals, waive informalities and technicalities, negotiate directly with any party submitting a bid or proposal, or accept the proposal deemed to be in its best interest, regardless of whether it is the lowest dollar proposal. Questions should be directed in writing to the designated contact person. The estimated limits of the buried debris has an area of 68,950 square feet. The debris and trash removal will go down to a depth of 3 feet within the debris limits for a total volume of soil, debris, and trash removal to be approximately 7,665 Cubic Yards. Based on previous reports and additional site investigations the City of Tybee Island is anticipating that 20% of the total volume or 1,532 Cubic Yards will be trash and debris. Questions, inquiries, suggestions, or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information concerning any portion of this ITB must be made by email, sent to the below named individual who will be the official point of contact for this ITB.
