2026 ADA Improvements Program: ADA Sidewalk Ramp Replacements At Various Locations ADA sidewalk ramp replacements at various locations within the jurisdiction of the City of Urbandale as part of the 2026 ADA Improvements Program. Sealed bids are required for the work comprising the improvement. Contractors and subcontractors shall not include sales tax for material purchases, as certificates of exemption will be issued. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond to guarantee faithful performance of the contract and prompt payment for all materials and labor. Payments will be made based on monthly estimates, with 97% of the contract value paid monthly and the remaining 3% paid upon completion, subject to specific conditions. Bidders are notified that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected.
