This is a HVAC Equipment Replacement project involving the removal of existing Air Handlers AC-3 & AC-4 and the furnishing and installation of new packaged rooftop air handling units AC-3 & AC-4, including all power, accessories, controls, and other elements needed to complete the installation. Bid Alternates 1 & 2 include the demolition of four existing exhaust fans (EF-3, EF-7, EF-4, and EF-5) and the furnishing and installation of four new exhaust fans (EF-3, EF-7, EF-4, and EF-5). Bid Alternate 3 involves the demolition of existing disconnects for AC-3 and AC-4 and the furnishing and installation of new disconnects for the new units. Bid Alternate 4 includes the demolition of existing feeders for AC-3 and AC-4 and the furnishing and installation of new feeders for the new units. Each bidder must submit a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience on their letterhead, documenting the successful completion of at least three and no more than five comparable HVAC Equipment Replacement projects in the past five years, each with a total construction value at award of $1,350,000 or greater, located within the nine Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma). For each project, provide the project name, address, owner’s name, contract value at award, total Change Order value, completion date, Owner’s Representative email address and phone number, and a description of comparability. List all HVAC Equipment Replacement projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) completed or currently underway in the last five years, if any.
