Requests for clarification sent through e-mail shall not be accepted. The work consists of the reconstruction of ADA ramps, resurfacing of existing paved roads, signing, and striping. The project is a 45 working day contract, located west of Bradley Rd, east of Murrieta Rd, and north of Newport Rd, with major crossroads being Lazy Creek Rd & Evans Rd. The project area is bounded by Evans Rd, Apple Creek Rd, Coalinga Ct, Moondance Way, Sugarfoot Ct, Blackbird Dr, Woodstock Pl, Sun Country Ln, Hillhurst Ct, and Oakbridge Dr in Menifee, CA. Bids must be submitted electronically via the City of Menifee's PlanetBids bidding portal and must include all corresponding attachments such as bid bond and subcontractor list. A hard copy of the entire bid package, including all original notarized documents, must be received within 24 hours of the submittal deadline. Each bid must include a certified or cashier's check or satisfactory bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds acceptable to the Agency. Bidder must be a licensed contractor holding a current State of California "A" Contractor's License and must be registered and qualified to perform public work. Bids must be valid for ninety (90) calendar days after bid opening. Bidders must comply with all prevailing wage laws and ensure non-discrimination in employment practices. The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to take all bids under advisement during the bid validity period. Liquidated damages will apply as specified in the Special Provisions.
