Site work for a water / sewer project in Alton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project consists of lowering/adjusting 171 LF of 6" force main below a proposed TxDOT 42" storm drainage system located adjacent to Alton City Hall. Bids must be submitted sealed and accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid, or a certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds as an alternative. The City of Alton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Bids may be held for up to 90 days for review and qualification. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination, in compliance with applicable Executive Orders and labor regulations. Bid and contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, are available for purchase or by request electronically. All communications shall be confirmed by emailing the original correspondence to the office of the Engineer.
