Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Alton, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to perform energy efficiency retrofit improvements to municipally owned facility within the City of Alton, Texas. Improvements may include, but are not limited to, energy conservation measures, equipment upgrades, and associated work necessary to comply with program requirements. All improvements shall be furnished and installed in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, and funding requirements. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Alton or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Alton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in stating prices in any bid, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or to reject the bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
