Bids are requested for the provision of rock used for road maintenance by the Road and Bridge Departments, to be supplied until March 1, 2027. All bids must be submitted on the Washington County Bid Document obtainable from the County Clerk's office. Bids submitted on any other document will not be accepted. All rock supplied must comply with MoDOT state specifications. If the rock quality falls below MoDOT specifications on two occasions during the contract year, the contract is void. Bidders who own real estate or personal property in Washington County must provide proof they have paid all county taxes. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Sealed Bid.” The Washington County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
