Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Calumet City, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Sealed proposals are invited for new entrance stairs at Thornton Fractional North High School, under one general construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Contractors must register with the architect, complete a bidder information form, and provide an A.I.A. Document A-305 (Contractor Qualification Statement) prepared for this project. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the total bid amount as a guarantee of contract execution, with a 100% performance bond and labor/material bond required for the successful bidder. Bidders must demonstrate satisfactory facilities, abilities, experience, equipment, and resources to execute the work. Not less than the prevailing wage must be paid for labor. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and award the bid in the Owner's best interest.
