Site work for an educational facility in Calumet City, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are invited for Lower Level Drain Tile Installation at Thornton Fractional North High School Project No. 24-215-05. Work will be let under one general construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Plans and specifications are available from the architect. Contractors must register, complete a bidder information form, and provide an A.I.A. Document A-305 (Contractor Qualification Statement) for the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than 10% of the bid amount as a guarantee of performance. A 100% Performance Bond and a Labor/Material Bond are required from the successful bidder. Bidders must demonstrate adequate facilities, abilities, experience, equipment, and financial and physical resources to fulfill the contract. Not less than the prevailing wage must be paid for labor as required by law. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and award the bid in the best interest of the Owner. "Mandatory pre-bid meeting attendance is required."
