Renovation of a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work includes selective demolition of existing building elements and general construction for the renovation of the existing Control Room space located on the 2nd floor of the Pump Station building. This includes, but is not limited to: replacement of the existing control desk console; interior room and finish improvements; furniture, fixtures, and equipment replacement; and electrical, lighting, low voltage, and control system upgrades in accordance with the Standard Conditions, Construction Drawings, and Specifications. Bidders are instructed to submit proposals on preprinted forms furnished by the Board, include a bid security in a separate envelope in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, and follow all requirements regarding bonds, insurance certificates, and deadlines as specified by the Board. Additional contract details such as tax exemptions, insurance requirements, and warranty periods are stipulated.
